Keynote Speaker: Dave Robinson

NFL great Dave Robinson was a first round draft pick by the Green Bay Packers in the 1963 NFL draft. In the prior year, 1962, he was named First Team All-American while playing both Offensive and Defensive End for Penn State.

Robinson made his NFL debut in 1963 against the Chicago Bears and was moved from Defensive End to Outside Linebacker. Playing alongside the immortal Ray Nitschke and pro-bowler Lee Roy Coffey, the three formed one of the best Line-backing units in NFL history. He played on two Super Bowl championship teams and won a total of three NFL titles with the Packers under the leadership of the great Vince Lombardi. He finished his career with the Washington Redskins playing for them in 1973 and 1974.

Robinson retired in August of 1975 after 12 seasons. He finished his career with 27 interceptions and 12 recovered fumbles. He was named to three Pro Bowls in 1966, 1967 and 1969 and was selected for one of the Linebacker spots on the All-Decade Team for the 60’s. Robinson was inducted into the Packer Hall of Fame in 1982 and was part of the class elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2013.

Dave Robinson, a cancer survivor, also co-authored: “The Lombard Legacy: Thirty People Who were Touched by Greatness” and has been fully retired since 2006.

Seminar 3:00-4:00
Whiskey 101: Educate Your Staff & Patrons – Nadine Gospodarek, On-Premise Promotion Specialist for General Beverage

The whiskey craze is alive and booming, yet many of us have a lot to learn about this popular product. Do you and your help have the ability to explain to your customers what a Bourbon is? Rye Whiskey? How about Scotch? Single Barrel vs. Blended? A well informed staff can increase sales and enhance your customers experience. Nadine Gospodarek (Carlton) of General Beverage will go over the basics of what you should know about the spirits you sell.

Nadine Gospodarek:
Nadine Gospodarek is the On-Premise Promotion Specialist for General Beverage Oshkosh. Her primary focus is to build product knowledge and awareness through product tastings, trainings and promotions. Nadine has spent the last 8 years in the beer, wine and spirits industry. She has attended trainings by several various master blenders in the U.S. and is currently pursuing her CSS (Certified Specialist of Spirits) certification.

Tuesday Night Band: 5 Card Studs
Sponsored by: BMI
The 5 Card Studs live experience is an exciting and unique blend of what made the days of the original Superstar fantastic. They take the moxie of an old school Vegas-style show lounge performance, the on-set celebrity hijinx from a classic TV game show, the onstage danger of classic arena rock and roll, and ALL the boogie bang of Studio 54, then mix it all together and make you realize that it truly works.
